Mummy has managed to arrange their lessons in the morning. Both my darlings are away from 9am till 12:30pm in the morning from Monday to Friday. Phew! They are occupied, and mummy would have some personal time as well. Hee….
Zi Wei is going to attend an 18 days program with a Science experiment carried out each day. Meanwhile, Zhen Nam will be having fun with his apparatus, art sessions, letters learning and some Mandarin words learning. Mummy went to the centre along with the kids on the first day. It was a clean and nice looking centre. The principal even has a few computers for the students. Mummy saw a barcode scanner, yet mummy doesn’t know how it is being used.
Besides, mummy plans for a home tutor for my kids twice a day in the afternoon starting December. Zi Wei needs to brush up her Malay language as she is a bit weak in writing.
On the other hand, mummy has actually registered Zi Wei to another camp organized by the Buddhist society in the temple this weekend. It is a four days three nights stay. Unfortunately, Zi Wei is reluctant to join when mummy reminded her last night. It is a very good camp as it trains the children to be independent, self-disciplined, being polite and sociable. Mummy hopes she can join.
Some feel that mummy is no mercy on a little who has to stay away home for three nights. Is mummy doing the right thing? Zi Wei is a bit nervous as she has to mingle around with the strangers. Let mummy talk her out tonight and see how it comes out.

well. i guess it’s time for the kids to gain a little confidence in self management when out there?
This sounds like over-parenting. If you are living in Asia, we use the phrase ?????? (Parents filial to children).
At Singapore Math Chinese Tutor we teach our students ?????? and many of them would tell us that it should be ??????
Yes if I manage to find transport, I definitely will send my girl to those holiday program instead relaxing at home.
I’ve a little to say here, Ben. I can guess what you mean even I can’t see the writing here. I’m not pushing my kids, but managing her time usefully instead of doing nothing at home but televisions. I understand my gal’s attitude, and she is really too self-centered. There is a saying goes, “Age three decides a person in age eighty!” I’m just trying to develop a tough girl in future.
