It is very uncertain for the parents to see their own children’s future. I am always wondering what my own children would be when they grow up. Well, some said it is too early to tell as they are just in age 4 and 7. Anyway, I still keep asking about what they have in mind, or whom they admire.
The most absurd thing is, my kids would tell me they want to be policemen after they watch detective movie, or tell me that they want to be doctors after watching those related movies. Ha! Well, they even told me once that they want to be a fire-fighter when they grow up!
If they really meant what they said, I shall be happy to introduce them Bachelor of arts in fire service administration. As a mother, I really don’t hope to risk my children’s lives in their job. To involve in facing environment with fire would really make mummy’s heart popping up and down everyday, but if to manage fire protection, fire prevention planning, fire education, emergency preparedness coordination and resource economics skills and work mainly in office, that would be fine. Of course, before they could be the instructors, they need to be trained in the site. I understand very well. At least, it’s more safe while training, I guess.
Let’s see when my kids change their minds again.
