Sentosa Island Tour ~ Day 2

Although six of us had to squeeze in a small room, yet we had a cozy night long. Our driver was very tired after long hours drive. If driving outstation too often like this, extended service plan is definitely important here. Well, we missed the free breakfast as we woke up quite late. Relax…..why in a hurry! That was what mummy always thought.

The first place we went was the underwater world.

My silly boy showed “Gong Xi Gong Xi” posture!  *slap head*

Both my kids dared not touch, not even mummy and papa….. hehe

There were so many living creature in underwater. All of us were amazed to see all kinds of shapes and look and types of sea living creatures.

If mummy and papa know more about these creatures, we could then explain more to the kids……luckily there were some description and history published at the side of each aquarium.

My naughty couldn’t stand still while on the rail through the aquarium…..so playful till his grandma was worried that he might fall down.

Stingray and sharks ~ swimming on top of us!

Help! Let us out! We can’t swim like the fish!!

:D

After the underwater world, we proceeded to some exciting games. We went for 4D movie and cinema blast. Actually we were accompanying Zi Wei on request. Quite fun, and shaky, the seat moved too much till my parents-in-law felt dizzy.  LOL

A treat from their grandma! So action ya….

There are many attractions in Sentosa Island.

Fort Siloso where we could see the history statues of Singapore.

The Merlion, representing the strong Singapore….guess the country’s name after it….if read in Malay…..vice versa….

Tiger Sky Tower ~ Singapore’s tallest viewing platform, standing at 110 metres tall, where you can even see all the way to Indonesia and Malaysia!

Well, a loving photo of Mum & Kids !!!

Singapore For Holiday ~ Day 1

This time, we went to Singapore during the last school term holiday. My parents-in-law joined us on the trip. They hoped to visit their brothers and sisters in Johor and Singapore.

We set off after taking breakfast last Wednesday. Hubby at first thought to start driving down at 5am!! No! Why rush? Mummy wanted to relax and enjoy the family holiday trip. Hubby drove quite fast and we arrived in Singapore within 5 hours! We then arrived in Sentosa Island around 6pm.

Hubby has reserved a room in Hotel Michael under The Resort World. Most of the hotel rooms were fully booked, so we had no choice but to take this expensive one, almost RM600++ per night! All six of us squeezed in for the night.

Hotel Reception Hall

Our hotel room….beautiful toilet….wow….

There were really a lot of pictures to be taken. If mummy were to own more powerful digital cameras, my photos here would be better looking.  ;p

View from the balcony up in the room

Outdoor compound of hotel

What was behind the kids? Many people were already seated for some upcoming event.

It was a Musical Fountain!

This is the new casino, which is under the same roof  of our hotel. I didn’t visit inside but hubby and our parents did.

Good Pretender

This is one of the photo which mummy would like to show. We were at his granduncle’s house during our visit to Singapore. This cheeky fella expressed his ‘pain‘ so real……and mummy thought he was really in pain!! *slap head* When mummy tried it, it wasn’t the true story then.  LOL

Anyway, this machine can really give a cellulite cure if practices daily. Well, it is not cheap to invest here……  ;p

Singapore Trip During School Holiday

The term school holiday ended so fast. We didn’t go for Branson vacations, but went to Sentosa Island in Singapore and dropped by in Johor for three nights in total.

Mummy went with parents-in-law along with hubby and kids. We visited the underwater world in Sentosa Island. We went to Singapore Zoo the next day. No shopping in Singapore as the price is double high over there. It rained everyday during our stay in Singapore. It was not so convenient to us as kids were along. All in all, the kids had the most fun.

More photos will be published in my next post….  : 0

Enjoying Bathing Each Other

Both my kids are loving. They are very close to each other. One would ask about another if either one of them is away to school. They create all kinds of fun for themselves. Mummy found their new ‘game‘ at home lately.

Mummy was reading some direct mail marketing cards delivered to my doorstep that evening. Mummy smelt a rat as the kids were so quiet upstairs. Mummy went up to peep at them, and was quite shocked to see the kids bathing each other!! LOL

My son enjoyed water play with his sister.  My girl too, helped to wash Zhen Nam’s hair with shampoo. Within minutes, they were out changing to their clothes. Zhen Nam was proud to announce that he would bathe himself from then on as he has grown up! *slap head*

Mummy was glad, but somehow wonder whether he cleaned himself properly or not!  :p

Opening Of Old Folks Home

Early morning last Sunday, hubby suddenly woke me up urging me to get ready the kids and myself to attend the opening ceremony of an old folks home.

Hubby was actually being invited by his holy friend who has donated some amount to the old folks home. There was prayers by the monks. Therefore, hubby hoped to bring the kids along for the prayers, hoping that it might help Zhen Nam.

The opening ceremony started with an opening speech by the chairman and then followed by drums performance by students from Shen Jai High School. Well, both my kids were not interested nor excited at all. They were paying full attention on their gameboy only.

Our Minister of Transportation was welcomed to convey a speech and he was so generous as he has donated out RM80k to the old folks home. If my gold coins are still valuable, I might donate as well.

We didn’t stay for long. My two pampered kids were crying and complaining that they were hot and wanted to leave. No choice! Hubby said they don’t have the fate with God! LOL

Poor Workmanship

I was so shock to notice this scene in my bathroom! I was enjoying flipping around the few wedding invitations in hand while walking towards my bathroom that night. When I saw heap of black brown sand in my long bath, I shivered thinking what had happened. When I looked up, whooorrrrr….that was the only response I could give! Crack opened ceiling!

I then promptly sms my developer to request him to come over to my house urgently the next day. There was no broken in for sure. It must be due to the poor workmanship from the developer, of course! As there are many complaint issues more. I like my house, so do my kids. It is very spacious and comfy. The main problem is, it causes a lot of troubles once staying. Hope to settle everything fast……

Birthday Dinner

No, it was not any of my kids’ birthday.  We were celebrating the kids’ cousin brother’s 12 birthday. Actually that was two weeks ago….. hehe……..

Wow, look at this lovely ‘football‘ cake! It is so beautiful…………. The children loved it so much. All of them couldn’t wait any second to pluck the flowers and butterflies out from the cake! LOL

I have presented a special gift for my mum-in-law that night. She has hinted me earlier that the lipstick I bought for her long time ago was going to be finished. Therefore, I quickly bought a new one for her. She seemed to appreciate and so happy that night. She even praised me on that night which she rarely does.  ;p

I followed hubby to foot the bill, and it was quite shocked to see the amount printed on the receipt by epson receipt printer. Yes, I understand as it was still during Chinese New Year days. As long as everyone is happy!

Sweet Couple After 40 Years of Marriage

On the 7th day of CNY, which is also known as ‘human’s birthday’, it rained very heavily that evening. Mummy was driving with the kids and my parents towards Meru Golf Club to attend my grandaunt’s birthday buffet gathering. Due to the slippery road, we saw good sam roadside assistance working hard in helping those with car accidents. That reminded mummy to drive extra careful.

Everyone was requested to wear in RED!

Beautiful……

My table….

Lou arlou ar …..we mixed ‘yee sang‘ in wishing all prosperity and health!

The birthday lady who is 70s now. That day was the old couple’s 40 wedding anniversary celebration too. See how loving the couple is till today!!

This boy has inherited those socialize genes from Liew’s family.

Look at him! He has requested to hop to the next table for tossing……mummy saw this very often among my in-laws especially during dinner gathering…..  LOL

Too Addicted To Gameboy

Mummy is regret to let hubby buy gameboy for the kids. They are too addicted especially Zhen Nam. Mummy thought they would treat it as spare time game, but seem like they can play with it day and night without feeling hungry at all! Mummy would rather buy any toys under promotional items than gameboy!

These kids would argue over the game when playing. The sister will nag the brother if he can’t achieve to higher level.

This big brother sat like a big boss with his leg crossed! Oh boy, so action!

Mummy still keeps the gameboy for them as it does help to make Zhen Nam forget about itchiness. He is smart. He even threatens mummy that he won’t scratch if mummy lets him play gameboy. *sigh* Anyway, that is not right too. Mummy shall arrange time for them to play gameboy provided they finish their homework during the weekends only! Mummy must stop them to be too addicted, as they seem to  be reluctant to go to school because they think they know very well that they can only play when school holidays.
