Winter Solstice

No, no….mummy is not forgetful…..I know Winter Solstice was over a week ago. Mummy just wants to update a little photos for remembrance.

Mummy didn’t help to make the glutinous rice balls this year. Mummy was working and training in the nutrition club. Anyway, both my kids were good helper to their grandma.

They were really having fun. We tried to stop Zhen Nam from mixing his ‘product‘ with the rest, as he might roll the glutinous balls together with his dead skin, but he didn’t listen….. yeak…urgh… no choice, we ate!

Mummy didn’t take many photos as I was in a hurry out to meet an agent on mortgage life insurance. Anyway, mummy can show their ‘handmade‘ below.  =p

Quite nice too! Am I right?

Bad Example In Front Of Kids

Mummy is quite sad lately. There is communication break down between mummy and papa. He seldom comes back home, and when he does, mummy always hopes to enjoy short moment with him and kids. Nevertheless, we often end up quarreling.

That day, mummy was supposed to discuss about identity theft protection with hubby, due to some misunderstanding, we ended up in argument again! The worse was, we both argued in front of our kids. Mummy couldn’t hold my anger. So did hubby. We, as parents shouldn’t show a bad example in front of our little kids. *sigh* That was the second time already.

Well, mummy felt sorry for the kids. My girl was quite understanding. She consoled mummy when she saw me crying. She even drew some drawings to make mummy happy again. My boy followed what his sister did  :)   They are my lovely children. Mummy promised not to repeat the same mistake again for the third time. Sorry kids…….

Merry X’mas & A Happy New Year !

Mummy is quite bored with the internet work lately. Almost writing the same thing most of the time….but, can’t give up to the little amount as it is still some ‘earnings‘ to me! Mummy chooses any kinds of withdrawing methods which offers the highest rates, but not included phone check payment.

Well, mummy needs a break! So no where to go, just go shopping. The kids and I have been feeling the Christmas mood since early the month. We enjoyed Christmas songs when shopping in the mall.

Mummy made them hug each other….my girl just can’t pose….

The season feeling was even stronger when seeing those lovely balloon sculptures of santa claus, snowman….etc.

Hope my dear readers would enjoy your holiday during these festive season!

MERRY X’MAS & A HAPPY NEW YEAR !

Day 2: Trip To Hard Rock Hotel, Penang

Story to be continued about us in Hard Rock Hotel in Penang, of course not in st lucia hotels, even though mummy hopes so.

After our free breakfast in the morning, children of the friends’ families insisted on going for a swim again. Mummy didn’t feel like bringing the kids for water play anymore. My kids had been playing long enough day before. It is not advisable for Zhen Nam to soak in chlorine water for long time. So, how did the kids spend their time?

They had a short fun with the babies’ playground.

The men somehow had great time snookering.

Anyway, the kid’s club had a dvd session, and my kids enjoyed the movie while mummy and papa went to pack for check out. Mummy was at first worried that the kids would be bored.

Eh, seemed not! They were surfing net there.

After that, my hub joined and relax with movie and messaging at the same time while waiting for our friends to pack.

After the group photo, we then left for Penang local food like laksa, cendol, fried kuey teow …so forth. Nothing special, but eat and eat.

Mummy appreciates that we got a limited souvenir of this nice photo frame. It is far worth for remembrance.

Day 1: Trip To Hard Rock Hotel, Penang

Regret to tell that this blog is always not up to date. Mummy is always busy, …… *sigh* ….. very bad in time management! This was supposed a trip to newly opened Hard Rock Hotel in Batu Ferringhi Penang last Sunday. We went in friends’ family groups.

The kids’ face blushed….not because they were shy, it was due to my lousy car’s air-cond which broke down while on the highway to Penang!! eeerrrrr ….

Zi Wei and I had high expectation on our room. We still miss the cozy bed in Bali Hard Rock Hotel. Well, from the appearance and the decorations in the hall, it seems a bit down-graded if compared to the one in Bali.

Let’s see the room …..

Not bad…. a different design, and ours was the sea view room!

A beautiful view from the balcony. My kids couldn’t wait to play water.

Do they look weird? Haha! Have you seen anyone wearing gloves and socks at the beach? My children were the ones. They wore like that to protect the germs from sand getting into their cracked wounds on hands and feet…..  :(

My boy did look smart like this!

Surprising, my boy is always reluctant to bathe or touch water at home, but now he just couldn’t stop from having water fun!

Actually there was a small accident during the water play. While having the water slide down the pool, hubby didn’t manage to carry both the kids while they slided down, and naturally he dropped Zi Wei just like that in the water and grabbed Zhen Nam! Gosh! He has forgotten that the water level is above my little girl! She struggled for a minute and luckily the life guard was around. Phew!!! Mummy didn’t want any medical care or disability appeal even though there were. That was a lesson to be learnt and remembered by papa and mama.

On the other hand, hubby and his friend tried out their first experience in parachuting. They seemed to have fun as it was a breezing weather that afternoon. Anyway, they still need to learn the proper way when landing.  ;p

That was just our first day. Another update on our second day then….

Over Fond Of NARUTO

Nowadays both my kids are over crazy to Naruto! Everyday, no matter Black Friday or Black Monday, they will surely find some good reasons to request mummy for Naruto stuff, be it toys, T-shirts, bags, stationery, ….anything with Naruto or Sasuke (another ninja in the series) face!! My girl is “in love” with Naruto while my boy worships Sasuke !  :D

Mummy was taking the kids along to Jusco last week, thinking to buy something for our Penang trip that weekends. We were joyed over the Christmas songs and decorations in the hall.

Beautiful ……..

Lovely ……..

Gaya ………

So, after all these attractions, do you think they could still remember their purpose to Jusco?

YES, OF COURSE !!!

They would never ever forget! They even pulled me to the shop where they have eyed for some Naruto DVDs. Mummy eventually gave in, but only a DVD less than RM20 ! Mummy has promised that they would get a new series of DVD every month if they behave good everyday. Let’s wait and see.

Curry Salted Fish Feast At Home

The happiest day has come. Zi Wei stopped going for camp on Sunday. Since she failed to stay overnights in the temple, mummy is quite lazy to drive her back to the place again early in the morning. Yet, she was much happier to hear that her grandma and cousins were coming over. We were going to have a feast with my mum-in-law cooking curry salted fish. It was a family gathering with my parents too.

The kids were clever. It was all Zi Wei’s idea. She wanted mummy to let them enjoy spa together. Well, since they pleaded me in the most sincere way, mummy then prepared the water and three little kids jumped into the tub without seconds, except Zhen Nam. He was not so keen on water play as he felt pain on his scratched wounds when he touches water. :(

After the spa, all four of them squeezed in front of the desktop surfing for games. Mummy didn’t limit them that day. They could play for six hours on that day. No….no…only for that day.

Hmmm….mummy could smell the curry as fine as the Backwoods cigars smell. Well, well, a little out of sense ya….yes, yes, the tempting curry smell. Mummy’s tummy was growling. Mummy knew I could double my rice bowl for the dinner. Ha!

Picture may not show its taste….
