Poison Liquid Stem

Mummy is not a person who knows gardening, nor do I have any interest in studying about plants and trees. Yet, mummy did plant a few at outdoor house because mummy understands that to see green more in nature is better to health and environment. Anyway, mummy has a plant like this at home…..

The view from inside the house through my custom blinds may seem terrific. Actually this plant has beautiful flowers. Mummy likes pink. It blossoms more flowers lately.

Hubby laid some grass on top of the soil in the pot. Surprisingly mushrooms start to grow lately. It may due to mummy’s fruits and vegetables pulps as fertilizer after making juice.

Mummy thought that I have chosen the right plant until today……one of my neighbour who seldom stay in her new house here came to me this morning. She advised me not to keep it as its liquid in stem contains poison! Gosh! Mummy doesn’t know about that at all. She even told me not to let the kids touch it. People from India used the stem liquid to mix in milk for their baby daughters when they don’t want the babies. How mean!

Oooo….Mummy rather believes than doubts. Have to get rid of it as soon as possible.

Problem Lighting At Home

Time flies, we have moved to our new house here for about 9 months already. For goodness sake, everything is still not so old as I appoint a part-time maid to come once every weekly. As for the playroom, it is like a mess! No matter how many times mummy yells, scolds, shouts and reminds, still the kids can’t clean up and arrange everything after using the room! Let’s not talk about the wall paint and their writing tables and chairs…..sigh! Should snap a few photos to show next round.

As for my furniture and lighting, not causing big problems, but do have problems on and off. Mummy has no more strength to care about the spotlights in my dry kitchen. One of the bulb burns all the time! Once change to new bulb, few days later then black out! The technician points out that it is due to my unbalance flow of current in my house.

My job is to make calls, coordinate the arrival of technicians and to wait at home to open the door for them!!! Grrr….

Sad, Worried vs Sweet

Zhen Nam’s immune system is really weak. He has still not recovered from his flu till today whilst mummy is getting much better from cough. The worst is, his skin condition worsens day after day. He scratches most of the time and complains of pain whenever bathing. Mummy is getting worried when seeing him begin suffering from atopic dermatitis like last time again!  *sigh*

Mummy heard all kinds of suggestions. Some say he needs multivitamins, some say he needs vinegar everyday. Mummy read from article in newspapers that skin disease people need probiotics, minerals, organic food, high nutrients and vinegar is one of them too. Yes, yes, mummy would give anything and everything to help him. *sigh*

Aiihhh, when mummy saw this skinny fella naked in his air-conditioned bedroom, mummy was quite shocked. Mummy quickly rushed him to get dressed to his pyjamas.

Well, my kids were  excited on the new decorations in their room.

Nice ya?

Sweet memory on exhibition board….

Disgusting Green Creepy Creature

I usually have a maid on call once a week to clean up my house. This maid of mine is a middle-aged woman who is good and I somehow treat her extremely nice as I would buy snacks and fruits for her every time she comes. Last week she did ‘save‘ my ‘life‘ from these below….!! I was grateful to her……. LOL

I was admiring at the Moen kitchen faucets in the catalogue when I heard my maid demanding for insecticide in an urge. I was surprised and found few of these green creepy creatures dropping from my plant onto the floor one after another, dead! Argh, they looked disgusting! So big till I can see their feature of face! Now only I knew that the small pods around the plant on the ground are the creatures’ dropping! Aryerrr….scary….I hate everything which disturb my ‘peaceful‘ life!

On that day, I have demanded hubby to dump the whole plant as those worms would grown again. Yes, they are like caterpillars but I can’t take it. *sigh* Who chose it at first? It was me then.  =(

Sadly, the plant is still in my place. My mother-in-law would like to have it. Sure, sure, and please do come quickly and move it away from my sight!

Troubled House

Have you encountered this before? Have a look here!

What’s this huh? One more picture to show……

Can see the big ‘hole‘ on the ceiling? And the floor…..yes, the car porch ceiling dropped! Ridiculous ya! Yet, I have only stayed in my house for half a year!

There are so many problems once I moved in. How did that happen? It was due to the broken roof which caused water leaking whenever rain. The ceiling was wet and softened, eventually dropped! I know that there are a lot of long distance moving company and moving is not so difficult. Anyway, I like the housing area over here. I like the service with guarded garden. It is quite safe to stay here.

This problem has been laid for more than two weeks. Our house is still under guarantee, yet the developer workers are not free to entertain my case….. *sigh* Have to nag and bother them always to get their job done!

Poor Workmanship

I was so shock to notice this scene in my bathroom! I was enjoying flipping around the few wedding invitations in hand while walking towards my bathroom that night. When I saw heap of black brown sand in my long bath, I shivered thinking what had happened. When I looked up, whooorrrrr….that was the only response I could give! Crack opened ceiling!

I then promptly sms my developer to request him to come over to my house urgently the next day. There was no broken in for sure. It must be due to the poor workmanship from the developer, of course! As there are many complaint issues more. I like my house, so do my kids. It is very spacious and comfy. The main problem is, it causes a lot of troubles once staying. Hope to settle everything fast……

Unsuccessful For The First Time

Mummy got the recipe of making pineapple rolls and I really hope that I can make a few tins for in-laws and my family. There mummy was, with my mum last week with all the ingredients and tools ready. My mum also wanted to learn and help.

Mummy have invested in this food processor which makes mixing dough so easy and fast. I also get a weighing scale for free too.

Mummy didn’t follow the recipe exactly where I changed the plain flour to gluten free flour and without any milk powder. Mummy hopes not to rely on Blue Advantage too much, and be able to keep my kids healthy while enjoying their favourite snack.

Well, sadly to tell, mummy has failed for the first time after baking for 15 minutes. Mummy is embarrassed to show the outcome of my biscuits.  :(

The biscuits’ texture were different. Not soft and a bit too rough. And the first batch was burnt as well! LOL  Mummy suspected that it was due to the gluten free flour which I used. Mummy swears to try again the second time, following exactly with the ingredients in recipe. Give me support ya!!

Burning Calories With Stairs Climbing Everyday

Mummy’s current new house is a double storey terrace house. Kids and I love this type of house as there are more space for the kids to loiter and play inside. Anyway, that is a challenge to me nowadays! Mummy doesn’t know how many times I climb up and down the stairs a day! Sometimes forget to get this and that. Sometimes need to help the kids to bathe, sometimes need to bring the clean clothes up and so forth. Mummy is really exhausted. Furthermore, my pampered boy would ask mummy to carry him up and down the stairs often.

The expertise told mummy that climbing up and down the stairs can burn up a lot of calories and it is a perfect way to slim down than just taking the best weight loss pills everyday. But mummy is already very thin! Maybe mummy can take this opportunity to build up muscles. =p

Playing “Masak-Masak”

Another cooking session today! Lovelymummy is my coach for preparing lunch meal. Yes, she is my only good friend here who knows how to cook. Not very well, but at least some simple dishes.

Before mummy left to pick up the kids, mummy already soaked the vegetables and cooked the rice. Once all the kids were home, mommies then began our ‘game‘. The kids were busy watching cartoon programmes. While we cooked, we sometimes heard screaming and fighting among the kids. This of course distracted our attentions. We were more worried that the kids would touch the electrical supplies at living room. That would be dangerous!

Anyway, mummy’s ‘battle‘ ended within an hour. Everyone were starving as it was already 3pm!

Mixed veggie of broccoli, cauliflower and baby corns.

What’s this called already huh?

Steam egg ~ a little hard, should add more water next time!

We added all kinds of seasonings like trying an error. Anyway, the outcome was not that bad too. ;p

We shall learn to cook some fish, pork and chicken. That would be more challenging.

Mummy Is Busy With New Housechores!

My life is now only known with a word, “BUSY“! Why? Mummy needs to do all the house chores alone. My kids are still small and not able to help much like laundry, kitchenware washing and about holistic responsibilities.

Whenever mummy is busy, mummy often received calls to approach me on insurance quotes. Mummy really has no mood to entertain those workmen.

Every night, mummy and the kids go to my mother’s place for dinner. Yet, it is actually quite far away. My kids started to complain why they can’t have dinner at home instead. That means, mummy needs to cook!!! Another new task in the house then!! *sigh*
