Mummy just took the kids for medical check up yesterday since they both have flu and cough for quite some time. Luckily they are still energetic without fever. Just too much phlegm inside which caused the symptoms.
Both are still active like tigers!
Nguammm…… ;p
After their pediatrician measured their height and weight, mummy was told the result.
Zi Wei’s height: 122cm; weight: 24kg
Zhen Nam’s height: 96cm; weight: 13.5kg
Haha! The pedia told mummy that Zhen Nam is like a 3 year old kid only. In the meantime, mummy was initially worried that Zi Wei is overweight as her tummy is bulging. Of course, mummy would never consider those which may harm health like conjugated linoleic acid side effects! Well, the pedia told mummy that Zi Wei is in a very standard level then.
Zi Wei is very talented in computer arts. She has been attending computer courses for almost two years. Mummy finds great interest in her. She is capable of manipulating the paint applications very well in creating drawings. Mummy can use paint too without attending any classes, but mummy is amazed when Zi Wei teaches me the detail usage of each tools.
Recently, she handed me an old pen-drive, telling mummy that it was infected with virus. She demands for a new pen- drive, if possible some fancy one like Logo usb drive which she saw in the internet. Wow, she is starting to have interest in gadgets! Luckily it was just a pen-drive. Maybe, it is just the beginning……mummy is not be able to fulfill her if she asks for high speed ram, hardisks, modern speakers, …….hope that she won’t ask for Apple laptops! She is using it in her computer school! ;p
Zi Wei has been longed for her birthday to come. Beside awaiting for her birthday cake with her current favourite cartoon, someone has promised her a very special birthday present!
The happiest moment being together …… celebrating Zi Wei’s birthday in the restaurant for dinner last Friday.
No more Ben10 for my kids……They love Narutonowadays!
Don’t know why this girl was so shy to make a wish …….
Wow….open day for the kids!!! Mummy seldom let the kids have cakes as it contains eggs. Not for this time……yum, yum……delicious!!!
Hubby bought so many Ben10 toys for the kids ~ he doesn’t know that the kids prefer Naruto more!
But they still enjoy playing very much. Mummy rather hopes hubby invests in netbooks than all these not lasting toys. And, below is the present which hubby has promised Zi Wei for…..
A gameboy costs RM170++ !
Mummy was not happy with it, as it may interfere with the kids’ studies. What to do? Zi Wei has been nagging her papa for it few months before her birthday. Mummy has to arrange gaming time for her then……
Mummy finally brought Zi Wei to the skin doctor last night. Guess what? The first sentence mummy heard from the doctor when he saw Zi Wei was, ” Oh yes, she got this from the school! We call it “Slap Cheek“! Doesn’t her red face look like one?” Is that true? The name sounds funny huh…..
As for Zi Wei’s arms and legs, they were caused by the unheal feet like what the doctor said. The doctor advised that Zi Wei should stop soy bean, cocoa, seafood, egg and mee for the moment to see any improvement on the skin recovery. Mummy started to recall, and he was right! Zi Wei has been taking soy made food (organic) daily on breakfast, soy bean drink and milo in school canteen most of the time. That’s why mummy doesn’t see any recovery on her skin, yet it worsens.
Of course, he gave her antibiotic and steroid cream for her face, whereas just gave some itching pills and steroid too for her arms and legs. Mummy doubts whether to give Zi Wei the antibiotic and steroid cream. The skin doctor did console me that he has diluted the steroid in either 1 of 6 or 1 of 7. It is harmless but don’t ever buy steroid in the pharmacy without a proper guidance by specialist.
Mummy did throw the skin doctor a question of whether Zi Wei can continue local government schools. He insisted mummy not to over protect her. Let her expose such environment as sooner of later, the skin problem would appear. Just wait till she outgrown it.
Frankly, mummy just uses little bit of the steroid on Zi Wei’s face twice a day. No antibiotic for her yet. She continues with her Poron and ‘Sam Tong Char‘. Poron pill has the effect of anti-inflammation on the patients.
Weight: 20kg (her tummy is bulging out recently, this figure may not be accurate now) ;p
Zi Wei is very clever now. She can use chopsticks when eating noodles. Mummy didn’t get ready to teach her anyway. It was her grandma “mahmah“. Of course, Zi Wei expressed that she would like to learn though mummy realized anyway.
Grandma just guided her for a short while, and she could already manage to grip up food without much difficulties. Mummy admits that she may not be using the correct way to hold the chopsticks but give her some time. She would soon find the most convenient way of controlling the chopsticks.
Without the two front teeth, Zi Wei does look uglier than last time. Hehe…. She dares not smile a lot, worried that others will tease her. Mummy jokes with her that I can join up her broken teeth with a mig welder if she wants! Ha! Luckily she didn’t fall into my trap and believe me. She still can understand the physical growth in a child.
Cutting and pasting are Zi Wei’s favourite hobby. She has so many ideas of making herself some toys everyday. Even when she is doing her homework, her attention is always being diverted to doing cutting work instead. That’s why she takes a long time to finish her little bit of homework! *sigh*
Mummy has forgotten to place Zi Wei’s water tumbler in her school bag this morning. So, I handed it over to her in the school after an hour. When mummy arrived at her class, I could see that all the students were being punished to stand due to making noise in the class. My Zi Wei was like no back bone, half sitting half standing, with elbows laid on her desk ….. can you imagine that? *shake head*
Her class teacher approached me at once. Her first question to me was,
Teacher: Your girl’s Mandarin “bu xing der ar” (not ok one har) ???
Mummy: Can listen but not too well in spoken. *embarrased*
Teacher: I called her name so many many times, but nobody came to me or answer me! I have so many students here, how could I recognise who “Liew Zi Wei” is !!! ;p
Mummy apologised and left the class then. I was in a gush to find Zi Wei a Mandarin home tutor when walking out of the school. But then, mummy cooled myself down. I advised myself, It was just the beginning of Primary One, give her some time to pick up. Yeah, yeah, take it easy ……
When the night stroke 12am, it was Christmas day! Mummy was still busy packing clothes for the trip to A’Famosa 10 hours later. Just to wish everyone again, a belated
MERRY CHRISTMAS !!!
Meanwhile, mummy was suppose to wish my kids and parents, but totally forgotten when hearing yelling and loud cries from the living room.
That was what happened that night!
Santa Claus has given Zi Wei another space for new tooth.
That is always the job for my dad, as mummy dares not see the bleeding. I was there to assist in bringing water for my girl to gargle. That was the 3rd dropping milk tooth.
Age: 6 years 3 months 1 week old
Two expression in opposed.
Okie, better be hurry to get ready my luggage. We have to sleep already. Mummy still need to print out the auto insurance quote for my friend tomorrow. No, I’m not the agent, just help out my friend to pass to my another friend.
TIme flies, Zi Wei has completed her kindergarten’s session in life. The graduation was held last Friday night. We had a buffet dinner at the school’s hall that night. My boy couldn’t join us as he still can’t wear shoes.
There were 197 students on stage that night! All sixth years.
Pity my girl, she has to limp to the stage. She couldn’t perform dancing with her classmates as she was not convenient. Next time la….if there is a chance.
Mummy and papa were happy and proud for you!
We really hope to see you wearing the gown and mortar board once again in university graduation, if we are still around.
My girl has been waiting so anxiously for this day to come, as she knows mummy and daddy would receive her presents. Besides, she would also get a birthday cake of her demand. Tonight, we are going to celebrate with her with my parents and also the in-laws.
No updates on her weight and height, as mummy doesn’t keep record on that. Anyway, I will be informed about that when her year-end school progress report is distributed next month.
Well, she grows up like the normal kids, and she is extremely playful when being with her cousins.
Physical Movement: She still can’t balance her body quite well. She needs more practices in ballet class. She is talkative till her English language is getting worse with grammar errors in speech. She can only converse in Mandarin and Cantonese a little. Anyway, she has strong creativity. She likes craft work. She enjoys cutting and taping in making cards, boxes and even envelopes.
Academic: Showing improvement in Mandarin reading and writing. She is good in Maths and mummy sometimes doesn’t quite sure what method she is using in calculation.
Mentally development: Smart, but not always paying attention on mummy’s words. She likes to daydream. Grown with soft heart, tears easily fall whenever she watches a touching scene, or in fighting for something she wants!
Her favourite ‘Tom & Jerry‘ cartoon.
That lady is not me, ok? She is my sis-in-law.
Tossing among themselves! Kids know how to enjoy life ya….
Gift from my godsis and godbro.
Special gift from mummy and papa. My boyish Zi Wei loves this watch, as if she owns the power of rangers!!
Zi Wei has a bad habit nowadays. She likes to make ugly faces whenever she is shy or tensed.
Can you see it? Is it not that nice for a girl to act like this? *sigh*
